Great for kids
Bought this brush for my grand daughter who hates having her hair brushed. She uses this and it works and gets the tangles out. Also works on her doll.
I love this brush
I love this brush. I have long hair and normally, it's a pain(literally) to brush it. I had a few bad snarls in my hair and it went through painlessly and quickly. I even had my niece help me brush it and I was fine(normally, I'm a big wimp when it comes to others brushing my hair). My hair is straight and fine.<br /><br />I took a star off for two reasons: One, it has nothing on the tips of the brush, so it is scratchy. And two, it has a short handle and it would have been better if it were longer. However, it is not uncomfortable to hold. I hold it with 3 fingers at the base and my pointer finger parallel to my thumb.
Wet
Works great on wet hair, you will not want to nuse it on dry hair.
Works well on my thick, long hair
I took this brush in to my hairdresser/friend today. I go in once a week for a wash and braid. I have thick, long hair.<br /><br />The brush worked well combing my hair out after she took it down from last week's braid. That was on dry hair. It also worked well after she washed my hair and went to brush it out. She was afraid that the bristles on the brush were scratching my head but I felt no discomfort. In fact it felt good having my hair brushed.<br /><br />The only negative is that the brush kept slipping out of her hands because of the configuration of the handle. The handle needs to be a little bit longer.<br /><br />I received this brush in exchange for my honest review. I liked it so well that I ordered two more for my daughter-in-law and my granddaughter โ both who have long, curly hair that is hard to brush out (I was thrilled with all of the color choices). The brushes will be in their Christmas stockings and I hope they like them as much as I like mine.
